The THRIVE Plan coaching program addresses the emotional stages and changing support needs that affect the perception of contribution, value, and meaning in a manager's, executive's, and business leader's personal and professional lives.
About the program
The Thrive Plan coaching program is based on the five realms of emotional intelligence to support employees returning to work during or after treatment for critical illness including cancer, heart disease, and brain injury. The program provides employees with tools and enhanced skills to effectively manage requirements and emotional stages and make their return-to-work experience positive, productive, and rewarding.
Each participant completes an EQ-i 2.0 assessment and receives a private confidential debriefing prior to beginning the program. The assessment report is used as a tool to focus on areas that will drive effectiveness in sustainable performance upon return and progress toward rejuvenated peak performance.
Ideal candidates for the program
The program is designed to bridge a particular gap in addressing the specific needs of highly-skilled professionals, executives, business leaders, and management employees returning to work during or after treatment for critical illness.
The program can be adapted and offered to employees at all levels of the organization including employees on long-term disability as a result of critical illness and employees experiencing significant life-changing events.
Optimal time to engage in the program
Based on multi-stakeholder research, the optimal time to engage in the Thrive Plan coaching program is during the employee's treatment phase to optimize preparation and readiness to return to work.
Coaching format options for engaging in the program
Individual coaching format by phone with option for in-person private sessions and workplace meetings: Customized to meet the needs of the employee and the employer in order to optimize employee readiness, employer and workplace readiness, and progress toward peak performance.
Private individual programs are scheduled to meet individual needs.
