Maestro Quality Inc. was founded by Patricia A. Muir in 1992. In the first decade, Maestro provided consulting services to organizations developing and integrating quality systems into their operations.Quality systems were developed with fully-engaged clients based on universal quality principles and the interpretation of quality standards including ISO 9000 and other industry-specific quality standards. Maestro quickly became recognized for its specialized expertise and ability to interpret quality standards for Service Sector businesses.
In 1996, Maestro’s consulting services expanded to embrace Healthy Workplace and Employee Policy principles and best practices.
During a conference focusing on the interrelationship of people, processes, and technology, Maestro’s founder, Patricia A. Muir, developed insight into her passion for making the workplace a better place for everyone. Her own workplace experience and the work-life stories of previous generations
fuelled her desire to assist others in improving their quality of life in the workplace. The ultimate objective in her work is to witness the shift in perception from “having” to work to “wanting” to work.
